“ Hiya! I'm Hoshino, 1st year student at Karasuno High. I moved to Sendai only last year because of my mom's work, and used to live in Vancouver. Yup, I'm Canadian! It's been pretty difficult adjusting to the cultural change, but I'm slowly getting used to it. I'm the co-founder of my high school's idol club,Thaïs. I'm not the greatest dancer, but Yui-san is helping me a lot with that. Oh, I just remembered! We'll be performing live for the first time ever at our school's cultural festival. I'm so nervous and excited, hopefully it'll be a smash hit... we'll be recording it for NicoNico and YouTube, so keep an eye out! ☆ ”

“ Hiya! I'm Hoshino, a 3rd year student studying Mechanical Engineering at UTokyo. I moved to Sendai some years ago with my family, and I like it here a lot, but I'm really a Vancouverite at heart. I love the hustle and bustle of the big city, which is why I'm so happy to be studying in Tokyo! Let's see... I'm also a vocalist and pianist for Pleiades, a cover band that my friend Tsurumi and I founded. There's 5 members total, and it's an absolute honor to sing with them! We always have an end-of-the-year concert planned for December, and I'd be thrilled if you could join us ♡ ”

I am absolutely honored to have made her acquaintance, and I hope she will be returning to Anzu-chan's apartment yet again this coming August. ”

Her passion for music is incredible, and her support's been invaluable to me during the Augusts of these past few years... Appearance

*see her profile image for her general appearance*On warmer days, she likes to mix and match her casual outfit. Either a bold red off-the-shoulder shirt with ruffles around the neckline, or a golden yellow shirt with cut-out shoulders will be her top of the day. Her bottom might be a white pleated and hemmed skirt, or navy blue jean shorts with a rolled-up hem. Low-heeled light brown suede boots complete her ensemble, though sometimes she'll opt for black and white converse shoes instead.On colder days, her casual outfit consists of a sandy brown sweater with long sleeves and light blue jeans. Her suede boots make a reappearance, and she might wear a gray-pink wrap coat for extremely cold and blustery winter days.Later on, she also wears a zircon necklace on a delicate golden chain, a birthday gift to her from Anzu, UNDEAD & 2wink that Rei presented to her.

Personality

Hoshino is a star, in so many senses of the word, shining brilliantly even on the darkest of nights. Her charismatic disposition draws in just as many people as it alienates, and she seems rather comfortable in her own skin, never really minding what others say about her, so long as she can be herself.She's quite sociable, finding the high-energy exuded by some of her friends and acquaintances to be contagious, and easily gets caught up in the heat of the moment. Some might describe her as erratic and wild, and she wouldn't necessarily disagree with this assessment of her character. She loves to tease her friends, and always has a witty remark or a sarcastic comeback at the tip of her tongue for any social interaction.Although Hoshino keeps up a genki personality, she's no airhead. She's clever and a natural problem-solver, easily achieving top marks in her classes... when she's not limited by her lack of understanding of kanji. She is observant to a fault, noticing the tiny details in the feelings of the people around her. Unfortunately, she's rather dense when it comes to her own.Despite her extroverted demeanor, Hoshino highly values her alone time. When she's alone, or with a select group of extremely close family or friends, a more contemplative and occasionally melancholic side of her surfaces, as though her usual liveliness is a mere facade.She is kind, and loyal to a fault to her people, but is never afraid to speak her mind, which can sometimes land her in hot water. She can be as stubborn as a mule, and once her heart is truly set on something, she's not so easily swayed. Still, her inquisitive nature makes her open-minded about other people's opinions and experiences, and she can be persuaded to change her mind if she believes their viewpoints make more sense than her own.
